Sesame Solar: Finalist in the 2024 Keeling Curve Prize

Named after the renowned scientist Charles Keeling, the Keeling Curve is a graph depicting the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the Earth's atmosphere over time. Keeling's pioneering work began in the late 1950s with the establishment of the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii, where he initiated the longest-running series of continuous CO2 measurements. His groundbreaking research laid the foundation for understanding the relationship between CO2 levels and global warming, laying the groundwork for modern climate science.
The Keeling Curve Prize, organized by the Global Warming Mitigation Project, is dedicated to decarbonizing the planet by identifying and supporting innovative climate leaders.
